Collective Impact of Creative Technology

The Collective Impact of Creative Technology (CICT) program is designed to weave the technical skills of students with the boundlessness of their imaginations. In an age of computing and AI, the curation of art, music and culture, and our ability to tell the human story is increasingly amplified by computational skills. For students and communities whose stories have traditionally been told for them, this effort is designed to shift the authorship back to them.

The program focuses on increasing the broad representation of undergraduate students in the academic tracks of Computational Media (BSCM), Human-Computing Interaction (MS-HCI), Digital Media (MS-DM), and Music Technology (MS-MT). It offers support and mentorship on creative approaches to interdisciplinary undergraduate experiences and guidance on graduate level opportunities in these critically important fields at the intersection of technology and creativity.

CICT is possible because of generous funding from the Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation.
